Following is a list and brief description of each Ministry, Organization or Event

  • 55 and Older Luncheon – Geared toward the mature members of our community, they meet the third Tuesday of each month for food and fellowship.
  • Acolytes – An opportunity to serve Christ and His community during services by assisting the priest.
  • Adult Catechism Class – A class designed for those who want to become part of the Orthodox Church or any Orthodox Christian who wants to deepen their faith in knowledge and understanding.
  • Adult Choir – An opportunity for all to sing to the Glory of God in His Church.
  • AHEPA – American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association
  • American Heritage Girls – Christ-centered character development program for girls ages 6-11. AHG emphasizes experiences and a merit badge program in areas of life skills, leadership, team work and building confidence, character development, social development, and spiritual development.
  • Bible Study –Meets Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Cub Scouts- A program for young boys which builds character, teaches responsibility, and develops personal fitness.
  • Daddy and Me– A playgroup for infants and their fathers; ages 2 years old and younger.
  • Fall Fest – Looking for volunteers for the event which will be on October 4, 2014.
  • GOYA – A teen group for fun and fellowship in Christ; 6th through 12th Grade.
  • Greek Dance – A program for children to learn Greek dancing.
  • Greek School – A program to help our children learn Greek as a second language. Offering beginner, intermediate and advanced classes.
  • Health Ministry – A great way to learn about being healthy, and physically do it!
  • Homeless Ministry – Participating in City Rescue Mission (soup kitchen) every third Sunday of the month.
  • HOPE – A young group for building friendships through Christ; Pre K through 2nd Grade.
  • Hospitality Committee – The meet and greet group for new parishioners.
  • JOY – A youth group for fun activities centered on Christ; 3rd through 5th grade.
  • Mommy and Me – A playgroup for infants and their mothers; ages 2 years old and younger.
  • OCF – Orthodox Christian Fellowship are for those students enrolled in any of the local colleges.
  • Philoptochos – Women’s philanthropic society.
  • Project Mexico – Join a mission team and travel to Mexico to build a house for a family in need. One week in summer 2015.
  • Prosphoro Ministry – Looking for volunteers willing to bake this holy bread as an offering to our Church.
  • Share the Light Ministry – Reach out to church family to provide the light of God’s love through companionship, caring, help and support by visits, cards, phone calls, etc.
  • Sunday Church School – To help bring into a life of personal communion with the Holy Trinity.
  • Veterans Group – A group for those who have served in any branch of the military. Meets the second Thursday of every month.
  • Volunteer Ministry – Members are able to offer their time to our church or to fellow parishioners who need extra assistance, such as cooking, assisting in the office, transportation, etc.
  • Women’s Bible Study – Meets every Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:30 AM.
  • YAL/REAL– Young Adult League/Representing Emerging Adult Leaders for those adults between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • Youth Choir – A liturgically based choir for children aged 3 thru 11 years old.
